Ironworkers Union High Steel
CLIENT Ironworkers Union
LOCATION Washington, DC

The Ironworkers Union wanted to give visitors to their headquarters the feeling that, when they got off the elevator, they'd stepped onto the floor plate of a steel skyscraper under construction. As project lead for the design–build, Howard+Revis Design asked Pyramid Studios to shoot custom footage of a "high steel" skyscraper being erected in Chicago to be used as a large–scale projection filling the lobby. H+R also designed a steel truss detail to frame the projection, hired a metal sculptor to weld the armature and created an "off–screen" room to hold the equipment.
