Sing Sing Prison Museum

Iconic, infamous and immortalized in the popular imagination, Sing Sing Prison has been a destination for curious visitors since its founding. H+R is working with museum planners Lord Cultural Resources on an interpretive experience that takes a hard look at the history of corrections in the United States, from early philosophies on punishment to today's incarceration rates. Housed in Sing Sing’s multi-level, historic power plant, immersive exhibits will bring visitors face to face with inmates and officials alike, explore continuing issues like capital punishment, and ultimately consider a person's capacity for redemption.
