A new visitor center exhibit designed by H+R at the Chateau Thierry American Monument opens this Memorial Day weekend. A fitting centennial commemoration of the final year of World War I, the exhibit is located at the very place in France where American “doughboys” helped turn the tide of the war. H+R worked closely with the American Battle Monuments Commission team, architects in France and fabricators Color-Ad Inc. to develop an evocative telling of the story of American forces, “over there.”
