de la Cruz Gallery

H+R was brought onboard this project to develop a new entry concept for the De la Cruz Art Gallery at Georgetown University, which occupies a former black box theatre space in the historic mid-century Walsh Building. Commissioned by the University in collaboration with the Department of Art and Art History, the gallery renovation will accommodate a new, state-of-the art exhibit space for the display of works by nationally and internationally recognized artists. Announcing its public presence will be a new entry vestibule and branded signage at the facade, visible from the Georgetown Car Barn and nearby Key Bridge.
